It is with great disappointment that the ARCC board is announcing that this year’s EAAE ARCC Conference, The Architect and the City, originally scheduled for June 10-13, 2020 has been postponed to late autumn 2020.

We in ARCC take great pride in our annual conferences, especially those we jointly organize with our colleagues in The European Association for Architectural Education (EAAE).  We also greatly appreciate the value these conferences offer to our members and to the discipline at large.  However, given the current conditions relating to COVID-19 in both Europe and the US, which may possibly extend into early summer, we felt obligated to put the health and safety of our members ahead of all other considerations.

Based on this, the EAAE Council, ARCC Board, and our hosts in the Universitat Politècnica de Valencia (UPV) have collectively decided that our best course of action at this point is to postpone the conference until late autumn 2020.  We are currently working with our European colleagues to identify alternative dates for the conference and will be providing this information to our members as soon as we can.
