Doctoral Student Workshop
Applications from doctoral candidates working on their dissertations are solicited for participation in the second ARCC Doctoral Student Workshop. This workshop is designed to provide a forum for students at either the proposal phase or in the interpretation phase of their dissertation work to present and discuss their ongoing work with senior mentors in architectural research. The purpose of the workshop is to strengthen and further thesis/dissertation work, as well to support the development of networks for young researchers in Architecture and related disciplines. Applications consist of a 500 word abstract on the doctoral work. Abstracts should discuss why the applicant seeks feedback in this particular venue and how do they hope it will further their research?
Plenary Session Presentations
Applications are invited for white papers for a plenary session focusing on the conference’s main theme of “Architectural Research for a Global Community”. Submissions should be limited to a maximum of 1000 words and could contain supporting graphics. Applications will go through a peer-review process and selected submission will be invited to participate in the plenary session.
