Architecture/ Architectural Engineering
The Department of Architecture & Interior Design in the School of Architecture & Design at the Lebanese American University is now accepting applications for a Full-Time Faculty position in Architecture at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor levels, or Lecturer level, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is for the academic year 2017-18. The ideal candidate should be able to teach mainly Environmental Systems I (Study and design of plumbing, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems), Environmental Systems II (lighting and electrical circuits, and acoustics), in addition to design studio courses.
Candidates should have a minimum of a Master Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering in addition to teaching experience and a research agenda in environmental and sustainable design.
The selected candidate will be recruited in the tenure-track [Assistant Professor] or non-tenure track [Lecturer] depending on their particular profile and research agenda.
Interior Architecture/Design
The Department of Architecture & Interior Design in the School of Architecture & Design at the Lebanese American University is now accepting applications for a Full-Time Faculty position in Interior Architecture/Design at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor levels, or Lecturer level, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is for the academic year 2017-18 and requires expertise in teaching design studios with a focus on interior design, as well as courses in design technology.
Candidates to this post must have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Interior Architecture/ Design or a closely related field, in addition to teaching experience.
