Dear ARCC members,
In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the EAAE-ARCC 2020 International Conference has been postponed from its original dates of June 10-13, 2020 to November 11-14, 2020.
Taking into consideration the available information about the progress of the pandemic, the expected time frame for developing a vaccine, the travel restrictions and funding limitations currently in place in many US universities, the risk of holding large scale events in the fall, and our concern for the health and safety of our members, ARCC in collaboration with EAAE and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) have agreed that it will not possible to continue with our original intent of holding the conference in a face-to-face format.
Based on this, we have decided to restructure the conference format so that all paper and poster sessions as well as some of the keynote speeches, panel discussions and workshops will be offered in a virtual format. To accommodate attendees in both the U.S. and Europe, paper and poster sessions will be held between 9:00am and 2:30pm EST (3:00pm and 8:30pm in Valencia). A new conference registration rate developed for online attendees can be found here. More information about the conference can be found here.
Through this change in format, we hope to provide all ARCC members with the opportunity to attend this important conference without any risks to their health and safety. We look forward to having you join us (virtually) in November. We would appreciate you sharing this information with your colleagues. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email us at president@arcc-arch.org .
