The Editorial Board of Technology | Architecture + Design (TAD) has posted a Call for Papers for the upcoming INTELLIGENCE issue.
Technology | Architecture + Design (TAD) is a peer-reviewed research journal published by Taylor and Francis. TAD operates at the intersection of design and technology with a broad readership among academics and practitioners. The journal has a hardcopy distribution to 4200+ individuals, institutions, and AEC firms with an additional 2500 library and institutional online subscriptions. TAD’s content is available through Taylor & Francis and indexed in Scopus.
The INTELLIGENCE issue welcomes a broad range of submissions that include human, social, and cultural responses to artificial intelligence, including conceptual frameworks, user interactions, and post-occupancy evaluations. This issue seeks current and emerging research on building automation, smart systems, design recommendation tools, machine learning, generative design, spatial reasoning, cognitive modeling, human-computer interaction (HCI), mixed reality, and ethics that rigorously examines the role intelligence can play in the built environment. All scales and modes of inquiry are encouraged from intelligent materials to smart cities, from experimental to constructed work.
Manuscripts for double-blind peer-review are due January 15, 2021. The standards for peer-review manuscripts are available in the TAD Journal Author Guide. Again, please consider this invitation and share it with your colleagues and research network.
